Jasper "Jack" Burnell Green, Jr., 76, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. He was born in Farmville, VA, and raised in Dundas, VA, by the late JB "Bunny" and Ruby Green. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Jo Ann Green. After his retirement from Union Camp, he and Jo Ann traveled as often as they could, taking photos of their travels and all the sights they saw. He loved to work with wood, carving out beautiful wooden bowls. He looked forward to his yearly trip with his brother and friends down to Daytona Beach for Harley Davidson Bike week, and he will surely be missed there in the coming years. He will be remembered fondly as "Pa Jack," an amazing father and somehow even more amazing grandfather. He adored his two granddaughters, who were the center of his world. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amy Glenn (Gary); his granddaughters, Hannah Edwards (Zac) and Joanna Glenn (Kyle); his brother, Mike Green (Brenda); and his nieces, Buffy Allgood (Randy) and Beth Harlow (Butch). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2 PM, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. The family will receive friends an hour prior. After the service, there will be a procession to Centralia Cemetery for the interment.
