Jay Vansant

Jay Franklin Vansant 68 went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Owen and her husband, Eugene; his father, Henry Vansant, Sr. and his wife, Katherine; brothers Henry, Jr. and William; sister Kathy; and great-granddaughter Nevaeh Faith Gentry. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Barbara; sister, Sue (Doug) Juanarena; brother Stuart; son Sam (Susan) Wilson; daughter Linnie (Mike) Scruggs, step-children Debra Wilson and Joe Wilson; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; many cherished brothers and sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 West Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831.
