Jean Brownell

Jean Mae Brownell, age 66, of Chester, VA., passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010. She was born in Spotsylvania, VA, the daughter of the late James and Rose Carneal Lumsden. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Brownell; daughter, Debbie Walton, and husband Barry; grandchildren, David Burkett, and wife Jennifer, of North Carolina, and Monica Burkett, of Chester, VA; great grandchildren, Blake and Brayden Burkett; a sister, Linda Snellings, and husband Robert, of Spotsylvania, VA; 4 step-children; and 5 sister-in-laws, of Syracuse, NY. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
