Jean Henshaw

Jean S. Henshaw, 74 of Petersburg, died Monday, January 7, 2008. She was a native of
North Carolina and the daughter of the late William and Minnie Rowland Shue. She was retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis E. Henshaw, Sr., son Otis E. Henshaw, Jr. and grandson Monty E. Henshaw, Jr. three sisters Ruby Carter, Mary Turner and Jerildene Mullis, two brothers Clifford and William Shue. She is survived by a daughter, Judy H. Pierce and husband, Norman of Rawlings, VA; son, Monty E. Henshaw, Sr. and wife, Rose of Dinwiddie; six grandchildren, Marshall E. Pierce of Rawlings, Christina H. Garrettson and husband, Eric, Michael B. Henshaw and wife, Lisa, Otis W. Henshaw, Jonathan M. Henshaw and Jessie E. Chiarky all of Dinwiddie; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa E. Garrettson, Eric A. Garrettson, Jr., Hanna J. Henshaw and Jacob W. Henshaw; brother, Ira Shue and wife, Becky of North Carolina; two sisters, Shirley MacAdams of Georgia and Shelby Noles and husband, Larry of North Carolina.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
