Jean Pecht Madsen

Jean Pecht Madsen, 80, of Dinwiddie, went to be with her Lord on July 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherrie Madsen; parents, Lester and Josephine Pecht; brother, Lester Pecht Jr.; and husband, William A. Madsen. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Wright, Katherine Gibbs (Richard), Wilhelmina Branzelle (Richard), and Teresa Williams; grandchildren, William Madsen, Justin Williams, Kevin Williams, Amanda Gibbs; great grandchildren, Kassidy Jones, Elaina Williams, Kynslee Williams, Kailey Williams; sister, Esther Fuller (Prince); and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Jean was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She was well known for her chili and making sure that everyone’s favorite sweets were baked and ready when they came to visit. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton plank Rd., Where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018.
