Jeanette Boone

Jeanette Robertson Boone, 88, of Hopewell, died December 17, 2008 in Retreat Hospital, Richmond after a long struggle with Alzheimerâ??s . She was born in Plymouth, N. C. and was a retired secretary with the Hopewell City School System Mrs. Boone was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Ward and Fannie Bell Robertson , her husband, Joseph H. Boone and son, David Boone. Surviving are two sons, Joseph H. Boone, Jr. and wife Starr, Alan R. Boone and wife Carla all of Greenville, S. C. , a daughter, Carolyn Jeanette Boone of Chester, four grandchildren, Erica, Avery, Kristen and Logan Boone and a sister, Edith Womble of Plymouth, N. C.. Friends may call at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home anytime after 3:00pm Friday. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 11:30 A. M. at the mausoleum in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with Rev. Wayne Rickman, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating.
