Mrs. Jeanette Harley Stinnett, 78, of Hopewell, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007 in Riverview on the Appomattox. She was born in Richmond, VA. Mrs. Stinnett was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Womans Club of Hopewell. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lillian Clarke Harley. Surviving are her husband, Phillip Burks Stinnett of Hopewell; a daughter, Mary S. â??Missyâ? Hayes and husband, Michael of Hopewell; four sons, Phillip B. Stinnett, Jr. and wife, Diane of Cedaredge, CO, Thomas J. Stinnett and wife, Barbara of Indiana Trail, NC, Edward W. Stinnett of Warrenton, VA and Richard J. Stinnett and wife, Margaret of Wake Forest, NC; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Barbara Baldwin of Detroit, MI and Jean Williams of Anchorage, Alaska. A Christian Wake Service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007 at 7 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with visitation to follow until 8:30 PM. A Mass of the Christian Resurrection will be held Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at 10 AM in St. James Catholic Church with Father Frank Wiggins, officiating. After a reception, a committal service will be held at 1 pm at the mausoleum in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Richmond.
