Jeanne Henry

Jeanne Ann Byrd Henry, 82, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 10, 1929, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Jim Henry, her parents Bill and Daisy Byrd, her stepmother Catherine Byrd, her brother Jerry Byrd, Sr. and his wife Frankie, her son-in-law Bill Keeler and grandson Ross Lynch. She is survived by daughters, Cindy Henry, Diana Lynch (Ronnie) and Libby Keeler; granddaughter, Johanna Morales (Josh), grandsons, Greg Keeler and Jesse Lynch; sisters, Judy Stamberg (Al), and Carol Briggs (Tommy); brothers, Ralph Frink (Pat) and Roy Frink (Pat); sister-in-law, Anne Brugh (Latane); eight nephews and six nieces. Jeanne was an excellent Kindergarten teacher who was dearly loved and respected by parents and students alike. She was also a faithful church member who loved her Lord and the people around her. A Memorial service will be held at St Michaelâ??s Episcopal Church, 501 Old Town Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 at 1:30 pm November 9, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Michaelâ??s Episcopal Church or Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, VA 23805.
