Jeannine Collins Miller

Jeannine Collins Miller, born July 29, 1951, passed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday December 9, 2018. She was the daughter of the late John and Maxine Collins and sister to the late Linda Collins Janosik.
Jeannine is survived by her loving husband John, of 42 years, and their sons, of who she was extremely proud, Chad and his wife Stephanie, and Justin and his wife Jessica. She was blessed to be "GaGa" to her precious grandchildren Keelie Elizabeth and John Declan, and is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
Jeannine retired from the External Affairs Department of Bell Atlantic {Verizon) after 30 years of service. She returned to full time work as the manager at Becky's Hallmark Store in Chester. She left Becky's after 5 years to eagerly await the arrival of her first grandchild, Keene.
Jeannine was an active member of West Hopewell Presbyterian Church. She leaves behind her church family whom she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank Jeannine's many friends, former co-workers at Verizon and Hallmark, high school classmates, and her church and Bible study girls for the many prayers lifted up on her behalf. The family would also like to thank the chaplain's office, doctors, and nurses at St. Mary's Hospital for their exceptional care and love during Jeannine's illness.
The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at West Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 2602 Wise St., Hopewell, VA. A service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at the church. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
