Jeffery Lee Harris

Jeffery Lee Harris, 55, of Hopewell, went to be with God at his home on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Preceding him on this journey was his father Jimmy C. Harris; grandparents, Robert and Mary Chapman and Rev. John and Betty Harris. He is survived by his mother, Peggy C. Harris; sister, Beverly Harris; four sons, Jeffery Wahnon and his wife, Ashleigh, Robert Harris, John Harris and his wife, Tiffany of Hopewell, and Jimmy Harris of Prince George; two grandchildren, Allie Harris and Kaleb Wahnon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeffery loved playing music with his friends and their band and playing with the Clinch Mountain Misfits. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
