Jeffrey Reed

Sgt. Jeffrey Reed, 23, of Chesterfield, Virginia, left this earth on March 2, 2009 while serving in Iraq. He was a member of the 411th MP CO out of Fort Hood, Texas. Jeffrey was a 2004 graduate of L.C. Bird High School. He loved his family and the Philadelphia Flyers. Jeffrey was proud to be a soldier. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Robbins Reed; parents, Mark and Mary Reed; sister, Cynthia Reed; brother, Sgt. Christopher Reed; grandmother, Ruth Russell Manus; uncles, George Reed, T.G. Manus and wife, Margie, Bobby Manus and wife, Jenny; father-in-law, Michael Robbins and wife, Cathy and children; mother-in-law, Patricia Davis and husband, Jeffery and children; grandmother-in-law, Louise Robbins; and many other relatives, friends and fellow soldiers.. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, March 9, 2009 from 6 to 8. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
