Jeptha Allen Harrell

Jeptha Allen Harrell, 91, of South Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Born in Jarratt, VA, he was the son of the late Allen W. and Mattie Ollie Delbridge Harrell. Mr. Harrell was a proud retiree of Firestone having served for 44 dedicated years. Jeptha will be remembered by his family as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was always willing to help someone in need. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ruth W. Harrell; two sons, Roy A. Harrell and wife, Sandra and Stephen A. Harrell; three granddaughters, Morgan Harrell, Moriah Watts, and Makayla Watts; and one brother, Albert Harrell. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, with is brother, Rev. Albert Harrell, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the funeral home.
