Jeremy Ross Bowles

Jeremy Ross Bowles, 28, of Colonial Heights, VA died May 17, 2018. Born in Petersburg, VA on July 16, 1989. He was the son of John Bowles and Deborah Jones Bowles. He is survived by his brother, Justin; sister, Alison; and grandmother, Valerie Jones; as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He graduated from Colonial Heights High School in 2007. He then completed an Associate degree in Science from Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary in May of 2010. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University, and was currently working towards his Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Virginia State University. He worked at Colonial and Tire Auto with his father. He was passionate about music and loved to play the drums and guitar. He was very knowledgeable about history, and loved to travel and spend time with family abroad. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24th at 4pm in the afternoon at Christ and Grace Episcopal Church in Petersburg, VA. There will be a reception following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association online, or sent to the Memorial and Tribute Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979 for Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) research.
