Jerry Lee Hudson Sr

Jerry Lee Hudson, Sr., 85, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Hudson and Emma Louise Lacks Hudson; and his son, Jerry Lee “Jay” Hudson, Jr.; He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jeannette Atwater Hudson; daughter, Janice Hudson Vattelana; grandchildren, Jason Lee Hudson, Sr. and wife, Amanda; Shawn Vattelana and wife, Whitney; Dylan Vattelana, and Donovan Vattelana; great grandchildren, Cierra Hudson, Jason Lee Hudson, Jr., Noah Vattelana, and Leah Vattelana; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Jerry was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Prince George; and he retired after more than 30 years of service with the Life Insurance Company of Virginia. Jerry loved spending time with his family and working in his vegetable garden. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at J.T. Morriss & Son Hopewell Chapel.
