Jerry Von Poks

Jerry von Poks, 57, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 17, 2021, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Both will be held at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A military graveside service will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 20 at Southlawn Memorial Park, South Prince George, VA.
Jerry was born on October 29, 1964 in Prince George, VA to Karl and Peggy von Poks. Jerry proudly served in four branches of the United States military as a hospital corpsman. Jerry retired from the United States Navy upon which he led a successful career in the medical field. His friends and family remember him as hard working, an avid reader, and most of all, a proud father who loved to laugh. He was loved by all and will be remembered fondly.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy von Poks; brother, Joerg von Poks; sister, Susie von Poks; and three daughters, Brittany Malnar, Katherine von Poks and Abigail von Poks.
