Jesse R. Aultman, Jr., 83, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Jesse R. Aultman, Sr.; mother, Pearl E. Avinger; grandson, Christopher Galen Lindell; and sisters, Margaret Spears and Maxine Cromer. He was employed as a Rigger at Allied Chemical and retired after 41 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church since 1957 were he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Training Union Teacher, Deacon, Scoutmaster with both the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts, served on the Benevolence Committee, sang in the mens choir, and served on the Board of Deacons. Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Pauline Aultman; sons, Jimmy Aultman & wife Cindy of Hopewell, Joey Aultman & his wife Pat of Spring Grove, David Aultman & his wife Tricia of Disputanta; daughter, Anne E. Lindell of Hopewell; grandchildren, Jim Aultman, Jr. & his wife Kim, Lisa D. Timby & her husband John, Bernie Lindell & his wife Jimilee, Stephanie Lindell & her fiancé Justin, and Tina Lane; great grandchildren, Megan Aultman, CJ Aultman, Charles E. Ballard, Alyssa Timby, Emily Timby, Nikki Lindell, Kayleigh Lindell, Kylie Aultman, Bailey Lindell, Aleina Raby, and Sheldon Pulley; brother, Frank Aultman & wife Myrna; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Hendricks of Woodlawn Baptist Church and Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park Chester, Virginia. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
