Jesse Coleman Vaughan

Jesse Coleman Vaughan, 86, of Prince George, VA, passed away on August 2, 2023. He was born to the late Raleigh and Virginia Vaughan. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Ethel Vaughan; his daughters, Leslie "Juanita" and Lisa Kaye Vaughan; his brother, Ollie Vaughan; and his special friend and companion of 17 years, Nadine Ridout.

Jesse retired from Brenco Inc. after over 30 years of faithful and diligent service. He put his life on the line by volunteering at the Carson Fire Department for 30 years. He could often be found outside, hands blackened from grease, working on lawnmowers and tractors or sitting under his shed, watching the traffic.

He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Duncan and Susan Seal (Dwayne); his granddaughter, Jessica Grose; his grandsons, Dakota Vaughan and Daniel and Nathan Seal; his brother, Robert Vaughan; and his sisters, Mary Nichols, Lilly May Nichols; and numerous friends.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Petersburg Chapel. A graveside service will occur the following day, on Wednesday, August 9th, at 11 a.m. at Southlawn Memorial Park.
