Jessie Marie Edwards, 37, of Hopewell died Friday, July 16, 2010 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Zane Fred Edwards, Jr. Marie was a member of Highland United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights, VA. She is survived by two daughters, Tiffany M. Courtney, Jennifer M. Courtney, both of Chester, VA., her mother, Catherine Motto McKaig and her husband Bill also of Chester, VA., her brother, Doug Edwards of Hopewell, VA. her grandparents Zane and Charlotte Edwards of Prince George, VA, Jean Motto of Colonial Heights, VA, Mary Jane McKaig of Hopewell, VA., three aunts, Linda Diggs of Williamsburg, VA, Mary Ann Hill of Colonial Heights, and Martha Reynolds of Knoxville, TN, three uncles, David Edwards of Prince George, Jonathan Edwards of Virginia Beach, Ric Motto of Dinwiddie, VA and special friends, Marie Knop of Hopewell and Jamie Kay of Colonial Heights, VA. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 18, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Drew Willson, Youth Minister of Highland United Methodist Church officiating.
