Jessie B. Lee

Jessie B. Lee, 84, was born in Harnett County NC, September 21, 1930. On Thursday, April 2, 2015 he joined a company of angels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemon and Viola Lee; wife, Iva “Winnie” Lee; son, Robert Dale; sisters, Ila Daniels and Cristell Trembley; brother, Louis Lee. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Simmons and Jennifer Hope Bryant (Donnie); sisters, Dot Crigger and Katherine Harris (Otis); grandchildren, Robbie Simmons (Greta), Michael Simmons (Sarah), Corey Phillips (Elizabeth), Justin Phillips (Logan), Andrew (Angel) and Afton Bryant; great grandchildren, Christopher, John and Robbie Simmons, Brooklyn and Kyle Phillips, Abel Bryant; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was a dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church and retired from Chesterfield County Department of Parks and Recreation. A graveside service will be held 1:00p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park 2901 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2154 Coxendale Rd. Chester, VA 23831. Memorial gifts may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church.
