Jessie Ann Sloan Shupe

Jessie Ann Sloan Shupe, 74, of Hopewell, VA passed away, Monday, January 15, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Allie Sloan; brother, Wallace Sloan; and a sister, Hallie “Dolly” Porterfield. She is survived by her loving son, Gene Shupe; a brother, James A. Sloan; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family. Jessie graduated from Dunlap High School in Covington, Va. She worked at Allied Chemical in Hopewell, VA and retired after 33 years of service.
