Jimmy Marshall Scott Jr.

Jimmy Marshall Scott, Jr., 46, of Hopewell, VA passed away on July 16, 2015. Born in Malvern, AR he was the son of the late, Betty Humphries Sprouse. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman and a devoted Christian. He was employed by Atlantic Bulk Carrier as a truck driver and loved the open road. Jimmy was a loving son, father and friend. He is survived by one daughter, Heather Scott; a son, Mark Scott; his dad, Arthur Chisholm; three brothers, Matthew Scott, Timothy and Robert Sprouse; one sister, Alice Scott-Shifflett; three nieces and a nephew on the way. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
