Jo Anne Ellington, 81, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ferdinand Ellington and Gladys Madeline Vaiden Ellington.
Jo Anne was employed with Ukrops grocery store, retiring after more than 20 years. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, David Springfield and his wife, Valerie, and Jonathan Springfield; and granddaughters, Sarah Springfield and Courtney Springfield.
All funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to an Alzheimer's foundation of your choosing. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
