Jo Ella Brammer

BRAMMER, Jo Ella, 81, of Hopewell, Virginia, departed from this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy Collins & Frances Stipes Collins, five brothers, Johnny Collins, Jessy Collins, Jerry Collins, Michael Collins & Freddy Collins and one sister Debra Collins, Teresa Creech (daughter), Ricky Rose (son). She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Karl Cleveland Brammer and her four children; Gracie Brammer, Valerie Summerfield (Keith), Robby Rose (Kim), and Greg Rose (Shirley), sisters Irene Sumner (George), Peggy Hamilton (Tommy), Cathy Layne (Ed), brother Roy (Duke) Collins (Carolyn), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, brother/sister in-laws and cousins. Jo Ella was a homemaker and retired beautician who known as a good person who loved to sing, plant a garden, plant flowers and can. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at First Congregational Christian Church, 306 Memorial Avenue, Hopewell, Virginia 23860 starting at noon.
