Joan Tomlinson Long

Joan Tomlinson Long, 88, a resident of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie L. Renn; granddaughter, Dara L. Mayo; grandson, Kyle O. Mayo; as well as several extended family members and friends. Joan was the loving and devoted wife of the late Maurry E. Long. She loved animals and volunteered for the Petersburg-Colonial Heights SPCA for many years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in Gardens of Faith Memorial Park, 5598 Trumps Mill Rd., Baltimore, MD 21206.
