Joan J. (Ann) Staley

Joan J. (Ann) Staley, 85, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Born in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Rachel Trent Jones; and was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas B. Staley, Sr. Mrs. Staley was a longtime member of the Manchester Women of the Moose #1078 and a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She is survived by two devoted daughters, Sharon S. Bowker and her husband, Danny, and Robin S. Kelly and her husband, Ricky; son, Thomas B. Staley Jr. and his wife, Theresa; five grandchildren, Chris, Jaime, Brendan, Ashley, and Ricky, Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Dane, Madison, and Hannah. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
