Joe Tal Huddleston

Joe Tal Huddleston, 79 of Hopewell, VA., went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on, Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Huddleston and Lillie Bowen Huddleston; a brother, A.J. Huddleston; infant brother and sister. He is survived by his son, Richard Huddleston and wife, Tonda; daughter, Barbara Brown and husband, Keith; grandchildren, David Runion, and Kristen Adkins; great grandchildren, Jaden Adkins and Zechariah Johnson; brothers, Lewis Huddleston and wife, Jeanette, and Roy Huddleston; sisters, Mary Mote and husband, John, Alice Strain and husband, Don Zula Bush; aunt, Carol LeSueur and husband, Joe; cousin, Bertha Bowen Fetner and husband, Wallace; best friend, Bert Trautmann. Joe faithfully served as a Deacon and as Ardent personal ministries worker, who diligently spread the gospel wherever he went. He was a selfless man, always helping others before himself. Joe served his country in the United States Air Force serving 12 years active duty and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Providence Baptist Church 235 County Rd. 103, Woodland, AL 36280.
