John Edward Crowder Jr.

John “Junie” Edward Crowder, Jr., 93, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late John Edward Crowder, Sr., and Daisy Williamson Crowder. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Vera Munford Dilday Crowder. John was a proud Navy WWII Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 120 and member of the Co E 3rd Infantry VA Cockade Rifles. He is survived by his step-son, Tom Dilday and his wife, Roxanne; step-grandchildren, David Dilday and his wife, Tracey, Stephanie Chase, Amy Quidley, and Dana Blackburn and her husband, Daniel; and step-great-grandchild, Marley. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg.
