John William "Junie" Faulkner Jr.

John William “Junie” Faulkner, Jr., 79, of N. Dinwiddie, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late John William and Mary Frances Virginia Johnson Faulkner. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Gay Faulkner; two sons, John Michael Faulkner (Dayna Shawkey) and Bruce Edward Faulkner (Kristine Bolinsky); grandchildren, Melissa Gayle Faulkner, Bruce Edward Faulkner, Jr., Matthew William Faulkner (Sarah), Ashley Marie Faulkner, and Megan Nicole Faulkner; great-grandchildren, Emily Nicole Brown, Skylar Gray Suits, Noah Michael Faulkner, Nevaeh Symone Wallace, and Penelope Jane Faulkner; sisters, Barbara Ann F. Jones (Ken) and Shirley Mae F. Glass; extended family, Dinelle Kovalaske Stone and Leigh Ann Drown Ragsdale. Junie was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was the co-owner of K & J plumbing and retired after many years of service. He loved watching NASCAR and rooting for the Washington Redskins. All funeral services will be private.
