John Wesley Humphries, Jr.

John Wesley Humphries, Jr., 47 of Matoaca, VA joined his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Born and raised in Matoaca, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Humphries.
Affectionately known as JohnBoy, he was a hard working electrician known for his kindness and willingness to always help others. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his parents, John Humphries, Sr. and Vickie Humphries; his sister, Kim Humphries; his nephew, Chris; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services were private. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the charity of your choice in memory of John W. Humphries, Jr.
