John Walter Ingram Boze, 58, of Prince George died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at his residence after a long illness. John was born March 4, 1946 in Dundee, Scotland. He is the son of Alexina and Clarence H. Boze of Evansville, Indiana. He retired from the U. S. Army after 22 years of service to his country. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Delena A. Boze; four children, Damon of Prince George, Heather Golub (Ari) of Richmond, Johnna Louthan (Joe) of Newburg, Indiana and Nicki Emerson of Evansville, Indiana; two grandsons, Chase Louthan and Grant Emerson; two granddaughters, Maggie Louthan and Anna Elizabeth Emerson; four brothers, Clarence Boze of Wadesville, Indiana, Derek Boze of Kileen, Texas, Alex Boze of Evansville, Indiana and Mark Boze of Traveresp, South Carolina; and three sisters, Jenny Market, Deborah Boze and Paula Boze all of Evansville, Indiana. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, July 17th from 2 to 4 p.m. with a funeral service at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Rob Bowker officiating. Burial will be held Monday, August 2nd, at 11 a.m. in Arlington National Cemetery with Lt. Col. Ret. James Bray officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HIKE Inc., which is the Job’s Daughters Philanthropic Charity to provide hearing aids to needy children.
