John Taise Kiser

John Taise Kiser, 77, of North Prince George, Virginia, passed away on May 16, 2024. Taise was preceded in death by his daughter, Ruth Ellen; parents, James Cecil and Ellen Scott Kiser; sisters, Nancy, Judy, and Ruth Ellen.

Taise is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Kathryn Kiser; son, Jamey; daughter, Liz; grandson, Judah; granddaughter, Ivah; daughter-in-law, Sam; brothers, Jimmy, Danny, and Taft; niece, Mary; nephew, Robbie; best friend, John; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Taise worked as a union Telephone Technician for AT&T/ Verizon for decades. He was a loyal member of Prince George Christian Church. Taise enjoyed fixing cars, helping neighbors, Motorsports, and overseeing voting machine administration for Prince George County. Taise built his log cabin with his own hands and could fix almost anything. He was a hard working husband, and a loving father and grandfather.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 p.m., at Prince George Christian Church on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 7605 Prince George Drive, Prince George, Virginia 23875. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with interment immediately after, at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Taise's memory to Prince George Christian Church.
