John Z. Lukomski Jr.

John Z. Lukomski, Jr., 84, a resident of Chester, VA, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Z. Lukomski, Sr. and Laura Lukomski. He is survived by his loving wife of over 62 years, Joyce Lukomski; son, John Z. Lukomski III and wife, Janice; daughter, Mary Jane McKinney and husband, Don; daughter, Lelia Elizabeth Lukomski and fiancé, Mark Pearson; grandchildren, John Z. Lukomski IV, and Donald C. “Donnie” McKinney, Jr. as well as numerous extended family and friends. John received a degree in Banking from UVA, and went on to spend more than 40 years in the industry, retiring as Vice President for Bank of America. He was a very active member of the Petersburg Lions Club for over 50 years, and a longtime member of Highland United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Highland United Methodist Church, 125 E. Westover Ave., Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
