John Micheal Maddy

John Micheal Maddy, 71, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017. Born in Radford, VA he was the son of the late Frank L. and Alice Christeen Williams Maddy; and was also preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Coleman. John was retired from the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Maddy; four children, Micheal Maddy, Darlene Chamberlain, Justice Mueller and Jacob Maddy; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Jerry Maddy; and a sister, Bonnie Griffith. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. the day of the service at the funeral home.
