John Robert Osborne

John “Johnny” Robert Osborne, 71, of Dinwiddie passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018. Born and raised in Burkeville, VA he was the son of the late Willie Osborne and Birdie Neathery Osborne. He was also preceded in death by son, Wayne Osborne; and siblings, Emily Osborne and Charles Osborne. Johnny is survived by his wife, Martha Osborne; son, James Osborne (Penny); grandsons, Robert Osborne (Leslie), David Osborne, and Matthew Osborne (Jamie); granddaughter, Emily Osborne; great-grandchildren, Dixie Bea, Wyatt Lee, and Savannah-Madison; siblings, George Osborne, Grace Long (Thomas), Earl Osborne (Sheila), Mack Osborne (Joyce), and William “Billy” Osborne (Joan). Johnny was employed with Asplundh Tree Co.-Stackhouse-CW Wright Co. retiring in 2010 after many years of service. He was an avid fisherman.
