John George Pratsinak

John George Pratsinak, 30, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on February 9, 2015. John was a 2003 graduate of Colonial Heights High School where he played on the Varsity football team and the traveling soccer team. He also graduated from Coastal Carolina University where he was a charter member and the first Sergeant of Arms of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After college, John moved to Florida and worked for the largest Nissan dealership, in Fort Lauderdale, where he proved to be one of their top salesmen and was promoted to their corporate office. He is survived by his parents, George and Jane Pratsinak; a brother, George James Pratsinak; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Elpis Greek Orthodox Church in Hopewell with a Trisagion service beginning at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the church with Fr. Emmanuel Pratsinakis, officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to St. Elpis Greek Orthodox Church, P.O.
