John Daniel Robbins Jr.

John Daniel Robbins, Jr. of Enon peacefully passed into the presence of God at his home on Nov. 6, 2015 following a brief illness. Born Feb. 5, 1928 in Rocky Mount, N.C., he was preceded in death by his parents John D. Robbins, Sr. and Susie Holding Robbins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Ann Bevan Robbins, and his older sister, Susie R. Mowbray. He is also survived by his five children, John Daniel Robbins, III (Beth); Elizabeth Ann Robbins, Susan Bain Robbins Eliades (Elliot), Robert Douglas Robbins (Leigh), Carol Lynn Robbins Crowder (Ed); his 18 grandchildren, Laura (James), John D. IV (Julia), William (Emily), Hannah, Frederick, Ashley, Nicholas, Ann Audrey, Thomas, John, Joseph, Layne, Ella, Jayden, Jacob, Haden, Clinton, Ann Catherine; his six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Tyler, Bryson, Breanna, Ellie and finally John Daniel Robbins, V.
