John Sidney Royall

John Sidney Royall, 69, died July 18, 2016 at his home in Mechanicsville, Va. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlotte Harver Royall; his sons, Jon Royall (Stacy), of Salem, VA, and Adam Royall (Kimberly) of Chesterfield, VA; a daughter, Crystal Royall Pate (Gary) of Homewood, AL., nine grandchildren, and brother, Ronnie Royall of Amelia VA. He was preceded in death by a son, Micah Hughes Royall.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era and former owner of Hillsman-Royall Funeral Home and Florist in Amelia, VA. He was a licensed funeral director for 45 years.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday July 20, 2016 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Amelia, Va. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
