John Joseph Schwab

John Joseph Schwab, 71, of Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was the son of the late Captain Joseph L. Schwab and Helen Hiers Schwab.

John is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Margaret Schwab; his daughter, Lisa Marie Haywood; two grandsons, Jacob and Nicholas Haywood; his sister, Marie "Ree" Driggers; his nephew, Charley Driggers (Michele); and his step nephews, Chuck, David, and Walt, and their families; sisters-in-law, Barbara Waskom and Linda Olive; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

John graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1977, and Radio Broadcasting college in Nashville, Tennessee, by the year 1979.

The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place in the chapel the following day, Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11 AM. Interment will immediately follow the service at Centralia Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
