John Stech

John Robert Stech, Jr. of Glen Allen, Virginia, died Thursday, June 30, 2005. He was an agent for Nationwide Insurance Agency in Mechanicsville, Va.. He graduated from Gibbons High School, Petersburg, Va and Stead Business College in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Naomi Moore Stech. He is survived by two sons, Jason Stech and Scott Stech; father, John Stech, Sr.; stepmother, Mercedes Stech; sister and her husband Jennie and Billy Owen; one brother James Stech; step brother and wife Enrique Hart and Luci; and stepbrother, Carlos Hart. A Mass will be held Wednesday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John?s Catholic Church, Squirrel Level Road, Dinwiddie, Va. Interment will follow at St. John?s Catholic Church Cemetery. A Wake Service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m at the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chesterfield Chapel, Chester, Va. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Save The Bay Foundation or St. John?s Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.
