John Traylor

John Howard Traylor, 63, of Petersburg passed away September 7, 2011. Mr. Traylor will be remembered as a great husband, father, son, granddaddy and brother. He was a member of St. Josephâ??s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, an avid stamp collector, and a Pittsburg Steelers fan. He also enjoyed hiking and traveling with his family. He is survived by his mother, Hilda G. Traylor; beloved wife, Melanie W. Traylor; daughters, Erin Jones and her husband Chad and Katie Harvell and her husband Chad; grandsons, Ethan Harvell and Aiden Jones; brother, Michael A. Traylor and his wife Ellen; nephew, Ryan Traylor and his wife Caroline. A Mass of Resurrection will be held for Mr. Traylor Saturday September 10, 2011 2:00 PM at St. Josephâ??s Catholic Church (Petersburg ,VA). The family will receive friends immediately following his Mass.
