John Billups Tuggle, John B., 24, of Chester, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was born March 21, 1996 in Hopewell, Virginia to father Jimmy E. Tuggle and mother Theresa L. Shelton.
John B. was a 2015 graduate from Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Virginia. He worked as front of house staff at Food Lion in Chester, VA and quickly became adored by his coworkers in the short time he was employed there.
John always had a smile on his face despite his battle with epilepsy. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved playing video games with his online Xbox community and cherished the friends he made through the community over the years. Some of his favorite things were WWE Wrestling, animals, and listening to rock music, especially the bands, Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. John will always be remembered for his kind heart, big hugs, and ability to make people smile. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all that knew him.
He is survived by his father Jimmy Tuggle; his mother Theresa Shelton; his sisters Theresa Bartlett and Emily Tuggle; his grandmother Virginia Tuggle; his grandfather Jerry Shelton; his grandmother Margaret Shelton; his stepfather Wade Martin; his stepmother Jennifer Tuggle; his stepsister Campbell Martin; his stepsister Brooke Gilbert, his stepbrother Brayden Gilbert; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. His extended family Holly Satterfield; Brandon Satterfield; Tabitha Smith; and Harley Satterfield, were also a big and special part of John’s life.
John is preceded in death by his aunt Tracey Tuggle.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
