John A. Wilhelm, 48, of Chesterfield, Va., passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012, at home after a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer. John was born in Bayshore, Long Island, to his parents, Ron and Lorraine Wilhelm. He was currently the Building and Grounds supervisor for John Tyler Community College. Prior to that he worked for Summitt Properties and the Virginia Department of ABC. John was known for his sense of humor, prowess at the grill, and Oktoberfest parties. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, and for his generousity, outrageous antics and his devotion to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Lorraine Wilhelm; brother, Bruce Wilhelm; sister, Cheryl Morris. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susanna Kelley Wilhelm; sons, John and Eric Wilhelm; sister, Alison Hertle (Steve); beloved in-laws, Lorna Wilhelm and Brian Morris; a host of other beloved family and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Chester Chapel. A memorial service will be held, on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Smokies, P.O.
