Johnnie Broome Felter

Johnnie Broome Felter, 72, of Dewitt, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Murray Broome; two brothers; and a sister. Johnnie was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Dennis L. Felter, Sr; two sons, Del Felter (Stephanie), and John Felter (Christina); daughter, Sharon Connelly; eight grandchildren, Heather Connelly, Kyle Felter, Michaela Felter, Kara Felter, Dalton Connelly, Ryan Felter, Ruth Felter, and Tess Felter; and two sisters, Patsy Delano (Howard), and Sara Walker (Jerry). A funeral service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
