Johnnie Lee Turner

Johnnie Lee Turner, 76, of Disputanta, VA, died August 18, 2022. Born in Stanford, Kentucky and raised in Richmond, Kentucky, he was the son of late Lester Turner and Mary Turner. He was a loving brother, father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, working on vehicles, being outside and helping others. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Tony Webb. He is survived by his son Christopher Whittington (Jessica); grandchild Dillon Whittington; his sister Judy A. Marshall; and nieces Sherry Boyer (Kevin) and Carolee McKinney. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Unity Baptist Church, 4951 Mount Sinai Rd, Prince George VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funereal Home.
