Johnnie Mack Wellington, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
He was preceded in death by parents, Sebby M. and Katherine Wellington; and brothers, Ronnie Wellington and Gary Wellington.
He is survived by wife, Ruby Wellington; daughters, Carla Wellington Jones (Dean) and Angie Burroughs (Mike); sons, Eric Wellington, Allen Powell (Susie), and Ryan Wellington.
Johnnie graduated from Mallonee High School in Hopewell. He retired from Park 500.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Friday, April 26, 2024, at City Point Restoration Church, 2300 Bluefield St, Hopewell, VA 23860 . A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at City Point Restoration Church. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
