Jon Larry Peterson

Jon Larry Peterson, 63, of Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 09, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Morgan and Blanche Wides Peterson. Jon was a 1969 graduate of Pine Forest High School in Pine Forest, N.C. He was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church and worked at Radio Shack and K-Mart in Petersburg. Jon loved to read and watch sci-fi movies. He is survived by his sister, Sharron P. Mason; and brother-in-law, Thomas Crooks. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A graveside service will be held at Southlawn Memorial Park on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.
