Jonathan Deliz Gonzalez

Jonathan Deliz Gonzalez, 29, of Chester, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. He attended Schroth School in Ocean Township, New Jersey from 1988 to 2004. Jonathan graduated from Matoaca High School. He was active in the Special Olympics and participated in soccer, basketball, and bowling. Jonathan attended the Winchester Green Adult Day Program in Chesterfield. He is preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Gonzalez; paternal grandmother, Carmen Gonzalez; maternal grandfather, Jonathan Cardenas; and his uncle, Brian Cardenas. He is survived by his parents, Charles Robert and Joanne Marie Gonzalez; brothers, Billy Frederick Almind, and Charles R. Gonzalez III; sister, Bridget Gonzalez Shelmet; paternal grandfather, Deliz Marin Gonzalez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
