Jonathan Scott Harding, 69, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 6, 2024. Born to the late William and Dorothy Harding in Richmond, VA, he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Mitsuko Moore. A Man of God his whole life, he began his mission at House of Prayer in 1979. He become a full-time Pastor in 1985 and served there until 2000. From there, he went on to serve at Father's House in Richmond. He served there faithfully, until he was called to Life Co, in Chester, where he served until his passing. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Deborah Harding; his daughter, Laura Harding Ferguson; his sons-in-law, Jason Ferguson and Chris Moore; his grandchildren, Benjamin Blankenship, Jacob Blankenship, John Ferguson, and Thomas Ferguson; his siblings, Donna, Steve, and Debbie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Life Co in Chester on May 11, 2024, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Life Co or Hope Point to help continue the ministry to which he devoted his life.
