Jonathan Isaac Maltempi

Jonathan “Jonny” Isaac Maltempi, 16, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013. He was a member of Ironbridge Baptist Church, where he was a member of the youth group and helped with children’s church. Jonny attended Elizabeth Davis Middle School where he was student of the year in the eighth grade. He was a member of the drama club at Elizabeth Davis Middle School and Chester Middle School. Jonny is preceded in death by his grandfather, Pete Maltempi. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Joy Maltempi; brother, Joe Maltempi and his wife, Brooke; sisters, Rebekah Maltempi, and Abigail Maltempi; grandparents, Mary and James Belgard , Diann McDonald, and Bill Thornhill; and a host of other beloved family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Ironbridge Baptist Church, 10900 Iron Bridge Rd. Chester, Va. 23831. A funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the church. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in a graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, Louisiana.
