Jonathan Scott Olandt, 49, of Chester, passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2012. He was the son of Paul and Connie Olandt. Jon was employed by Bankers Life and Casualty Insurance Company, attended Bethia UMC, graduated from The University of Tennessee, and was their greatest fan. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to all he knew. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah D. Olandt; sons, Jon Scott, Jr., Tyler, and Spencer Olandt; brother, Jeff Olandt and his wife, Candy of Knoxville TN; sister, Jill Mooney and her husband, Michael of Nashua, NH., ; nephews, Tripp Dodson, Scott Mooney, and Trevor Olandt; nieces, Katie Dodson and Jessica Mooney . The family will receive friends on Friday November 16, 2012 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jay Carey, Jr. of Bethia UMC, officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Bethia UMC 10700 Winterpock Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. Condolences may be registered @ www.jtmorriss.com .
